Our story
Our adventure started in 2005, when my wife and I bought our first Land Rover. This car was a Land Rover Series 3, and it was a true love at first sight. The look of vintage Land Rovers, their purpose and the way how they were built, the character and shape inspired me to do more with them. In fact, it just drove me to admiration for these beautiful cars.
Coming from a senior project manager role at an international construction company, I took a brave step to make my hobby into my profession. I started engaging with Land Rover brand partners and parts supply companies. I seeked advice and support for repair components in order to restore those cars that deserved a next life. My hobby quickly became a profession, and I have been operating and managing Landycenter since 2006.
Hand Made Vintage Land Rovers
I am often asked about what is there to admire about this car and how it became a cult car? What is the secret of this decades-long success?
Many people say that it is impossible to park it, it is loud, it shakes and rattles, it leaks oil, it is undriveable, it is like a tractor and yet everyone loves it. Why could this be?
First of all, we need to know where and what these machines were originally used for. For 30-40 years, these Land Rovers were put to work in forests, fields, and farms. They were repaired at the edge of the forest, in barns, in the middle of the desert. It is a miracle that they survived these times.
We at Landycenter are able to restore these beautiful cars back to their factory state. And we will prove that Land Rovers are built to go above and beyond. The shape, look and majesty are respected by us and the end result is a fully renovated Land Rover from the 1960s or 1970s, ready to serve. When you seat inside, you can feel yourself in the middle of an african safari or part of the royal family during a hunting in Scotland.
No other car offers this feeling.
If you stray the beaten path, that's when you truly feel where this car was designed to go. The classic Land Rover is the „Go anywhere” vehicle. Nothing stands in its way. The light weight of the car makes it easy to fly in 2- or 4-wheel drive. A real adventure car. It captures the imagination not only of adults but also of children. It becomes a cherished member of the family. It comes to life.
Why should you have a Land Rover from Landycenter?
I personally have been obsessed with classic Land Rovers for many years. What we produce are cars which are a result of love and care for the brand. The completely renewed classic Land Rovers that roll out of our workshop are the result of our dedication and quality provided. My colleagues and I have been closely working together for multiple years. For us, this is not only a workplace where we go in and go home in the evening, but we try to create lasting beauties. We make every effort to achieve the best final result. Before handing over our products, all cars are tested for weeks before final delivery to the end-customer.

Hallo David, hab den Landy verkauft. Musste nochmals an die Story denken, wo wir uns in Köln am HBF getroffen haben, und ich Dir 10 000 Euro in bar mitgegeben habe.
